We were tasked with making a book cover in relation to a famous couple for the company Penguin Books. The goal was to come up with a way to describe the couple using imagery of any two things. It would have to highlight the essence of their relationship and the conflicts that came with it. I chose John Lennon and Yoko Ono since they are both iconic and controversial.
Famous Couples: John Lennon and Yoko Ono
The couple represents true love and wanting for peace across the world. They wanted to be lovers that lived in a world that revolves around love. The core message between the two is love and peace. Sub messages include the controversy about Yoko breaking up the Beatles, the untimely death of John, and the previous relationships they left to be with one another. Essentially they dropped everything to be together.

We were limited to two colors, with one having to be orange. We were also allowed to use black and white so it was a creative challenge.
