"Save the Manuals" Zine

With the invention of electric automobiles, internal combustion vehicles are slowly beginning to dwindle and a byproduct of that is many manufactures no longer offering their cars with a manual transmission as well as discontinuing their sports cars that usually had the option of shifting your gears. In the United States, only 10% of vehicles on the road are manual transmissions and not many people know how to operate a car with three pedals. In Europe, there are many more manuals but those too are slowly dwindling in number. With this slow change, you can also clearly see how cars are getting more boring and less fun to drive. The reason I am picking this topic is because I love to drive. I live for the cruise and there is nothing better than riding around listening to your favorite music. Driving a manual transmission is a lot of fun and really brings you closer to your car by engaging you in the act of driving that much more and keeping you focused on the road.

The design focus was to draw in an audience and hold their attention with dynamic pages that held valuable information about my cause. One of the limitations we were given was to only use two colors so I picked blue and orange for the contrast.
